Meet Matcha
Camellia Sinensis | FOCUS · ENERGY · ANTIOXIDANTS
Shade-grown, finely ground, and consumed whole. Matcha is Camellia sinensis in one of its most distinctive forms.
WHY THIS PLANT
Matcha naturally contains caffeine, L-theanine, and tea catechins—plant compounds studied for their roles in attention, alertness, and antioxidant activity.
Unlike steeped tea, matcha is finely ground and consumed as part of the cup.

WHERE IT GROWS
JINGSHAN · YUHANG · HANGZHOU | 30.4° N
Among the mountains outside Hangzhou, Jingshan is part of a tea-growing landscape shaped by mist, rainfall, season, and centuries of tea craft.
Here, origin is more than a place on a label. It is part of the character of the plant.
A RITUAL WITH A LONG MEMORY
More than 1,000 years ago, powdered tea was being prepared and whisked in China.
During the Song Dynasty, diancha (点茶) turned tea, hot water, and whisking into an art. At Jingshan, tea and Zen culture developed side by side, becoming part of a tea tradition that would travel and continue to evolve.

WHY WE CHOSE IT
Rise · A Clear Beginning
Matcha brings together natural caffeine and L-theanine with something just as valuable: the ritual of making it.
Measure. Whisk. Begin.
The right plant for the moment you're in.
